Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Regional EHS and Sustainability Manager to provide governance leadership across multiple sites and countries, ensuring alignment to corporate standards and local regulatory requirements. This role will drive EHS management system excellence (including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), strengthen risk assurance, and lead a consistent approach to policies, training, reporting, and performance metrics across the region. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and senior leadership, you will embed EHS and sustainability into business decisions, elevate safety culture, and deliver measurable improvements beyond compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and be accountable for regional EHS and sustainability governance across multiple sites and countries, ensuring full alignment with corporate policies, global standards, and jurisdictional regulatory requirements.Own and continuously enhance the regional EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related frameworks), safeguarding certification integrity, audit outcomes, compliance assurance, and governance robustness.Develop and execute regional EHS and sustainability strategies aligned with corporate objectives, enterprise risk appetite, ESG commitments, and long-term business growth plans.Provide enterprise-level oversight of risk identification, mitigation controls, and assurance frameworks, including regional risk registers, management review processes, and performance governance mechanisms.Lead harmonisation and standardisation of EHS policies, procedures, training systems, reporting structures, and KPIs to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational resilience across sites.Serve as the regional EHS authority, providing strategic direction, governance oversight, and technical leadership to site-level EHS teams, including performance management and capability uplift.Drive regional sustainability management initiatives, including environmental stewardship, regulatory reporting, compliance assurance, and continuous improvement in environmental and occupational health performance.Proactively monitor and anticipate emerging regulatory developments, geopolitical risks, and industry trends, translating these into structured regional action plans and executive-level advisories.Partner with Regional Operations, R&D, CRM, Engineering, Facilities, and Corporate Leadership to embed EHS and sustainability considerations into capital planning, new product introduction, operational expansion, and business transformation initiatives.Represent the region in corporate governance forums, executive committees, and external stakeholder engagements, providing consolidated reporting, performance analytics, risk insights, and strategic recommendations.Lead regional incident governance, including oversight of significant incident investigations, root cause validation, corrective action assurance, and cross-site learning integration.Oversee regional EHS budget planning, resource allocation, and investment prioritisation to ensure alignment with risk exposure and strategic priorities.Champion behavioural safety, safety culture maturity, and leadership engagement initiatives across the region, driving sustainable improvement beyond compliance.Strengthen regional EHS organisational capability through structured mentoring, leadership development, succession planning, and talent pipeline management.
Job Requirements:Demonstrated regional EHS leadership capability, with the ability to influence, align, and lead across multiple sites, countries, and diverse cultures.Strong understanding of multi-country EHS regulatory frameworks and proven experience managing compliance across different jurisdictions.Strategic thinking capability to translate corporate objectives, enterprise risk priorities, and sustainability goals into actionable regional EHS strategies and execution roadmaps.Experience driving EHS transformation, governance harmonisation, continuous improvement, and maturity uplift beyond baseline regulatory compliance.Advanced stakeholder management and executive communication skills, including engagement with senior management and cross-functional business leaders.Ability to balance operational realities with corporate governance expectations, managing trade-offs, resource prioritisation, and regional risk exposure.Data-driven approach to EHS performance management, leveraging leading and lagging indicators, risk analytics, and assurance metrics to guide decision-making.Experience embedding sustainability management and environmental stewardship into operational and capital planning processes.Capability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving business environment with shifting regulatory landscapes, growth demands, and organisational transformation initiatives.Demonstrated experience developing and mentoring EHS teams, strengthening capability and succession readiness at a regional level.Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in similar role.Registered WSH Officer with MOM
