Wild Rice is Hiring – MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE We are looking for a MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE to join our team in support of the industry-leading work we do at our home in Funan. What The Position Entails: The Marketing & Communications Executive will collaborate closely with all members of our team in creating, planning and implementing Wild Rice’s marketing, communications and sales strategies across our entire season of shows. Core responsibilities include helping to develop and execute marcomms campaigns that engage audiences (both new and existing), whilst promoting our brand as the home for Singapore theatre. Ideal candidates should be passionate about Singapore’s performing arts scene and cultural sector, with a willingness to learn new skills on the job as necessary. Responsibilities: Help to develop, design and write/edit copy for our marketing and communications collateral (including our show programmes, email blasts and website) in collaboration with the rest of our team. Pitch and create social media content (including images and short, simple videos to be shared across our social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube) to promote our shows. Assist in coordinating photoshoots and other related marcomms events. Document key events in our calendar, such as rehearsals, table reads and galas, by taking photos and videos for social media and archival purposes. Engage with our audiences by responding to customer queries across our social media platforms. Key Requirements: Minimum Diploma in related fields of marketing and communications, theatre studies, design etc. 2 to 3 years of experience in a related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Digitally savvy, with basic knowledge of design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro) A good understanding of social media trends Comfortable working independently and effectively under pressure, often in situations that require multi-tasking Meticulous, well-organised and attentive to detail Able to work weekends and evenings during production periods
We would also welcome candidates who are familiar with our e-mail platform (MailChimp) and website management system (WordPress). Experience taking photos and shooting videos with a DSLR camera is a plus.
