Position: Executive - Community & Events

Responsibilities:
Community Engagement
Communicate and work closely with local teams and members to ensure highest level of member satisfaction.Develop community initiatives designed to create connections between members, including member introductions, overseeing in-person events and webinars, electronic and print communications etc.Manage monthly events calendar and workflow. Ensure there is a good balance of business, educational, lifestyle, member appreciation, sustainability and sales-marketing related events or webinars. Work closely with Operations, and Business Development or Service Revenue team to drive engagement. Manage onboarding and Community orientation for all our new and assist existing Members.Partnering with TEC member companies to organize events and member benefits on a regular basis.Minimum 4 (four) to 8 (eight) Community Events per month, 6 Member benefits in a calendar year, and other activities outlined in the Community Assessment and Overview.
Online Engagement & Social Media
Design and implement guidelines and best practices for both online and offline communities to optimize member experience. Exercise discretion in guiding prospective members, including possibly gatekeeping where business may not be in the interests of the greater community.Moderate and facilitate internal Community online forum by posting relevant TEC, member-related and industry content, participating in conversations with forum members, and managing negative comments/complaints in a respectful manner that reflects the TEC value system.Manage the local posting of Community social media calendar by submitting content to Marketing team, and it will be shared regularly on TEC channels based on guidelines.Identify and develop local member benefits for TEC Members.
Membership & Partnership with Members and Non-Members
Expand TEC Community by acquiring Corporate Members and Access/Individual Pass.Explain TEC policies and procedures to Members, including but not limited to: membership and partnership agreement and billing procedures at initial on-boarding process.Proactively engage members to discover and discuss members’ objectives, i.e. using member service request as an opportunity to learn more about member, member’s business and any other needs member may have. Identify opportunities and act on them to connect members.Create public events and programs to expand TEC Community bring in potential clients and partners.Develop B2B Partnership through profit-sharing model or upselling of TEC main products and services. Attend local industry, business and public events as TEC brand ambassador. Develop business partnership with Chamber of Commerce, Business Association, University Alumni, and other potential Business Community to expand content-based events and expand TEC Community awareness.

Experience and Requirements:
University/polytechnic graduate with 1-3 years of experience.Prior event management and customer relationship management required, event hosting or MC experience preferred.Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial or other business communities.Exceptional organizational, time management and multitasking skills.Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.Outgoing and positive personality – Community team are required to walk into networking events and be comfortable introducing themselves and others to Members or Non-Members and able to work with different stakeholders positively Exceptionally communicative – Proficient in English and a local language is a must. A facilities technician performs routine maintenance. This can include activities like repairing office furniture, replacing light fixtures, painting maintaining air conditioning and basic servicing. They ensure that all systems are working seamlessly to provide a safe and comfortable environment.Technicians inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot systems and equipment. They run tests and interpret the results to make the effective recommendations to fix faulty or broken equipment. When necessary, during repairs, they will source replacement parts and costs.
