    Position OverviewResponsible for evaluating conformance to Company specifications for all ingredients from receiving to work in process to finished beverage bases, including processes, whether at Plant or at suppliers.Ensure compliance with good laboratory (GLP) practices and good manufacturing practice (GMP), thereby adding value to the Company’s business.
    ResponsibilitiesEvaluate ingredients, work in process, and finished beverage bases with physical-chemical, microbiological and sensory evaluation test procedures to ensure conformance to specification and in accordance to Company ‘s Quality system.Complete the approval and release procedures for ingredients, packaging materials and finished product and ensure quality data are transacted in SAP.Ensure ingredients have all pertinent documentation (Certificates of Analysis, pre-shipment approvals, etc. before their final release.Sample ingredients, packaging materials, intermediate and final products both within the premises and at external storage if required.Calibrate analytical equipment accordingly.Conduct laboratory testing of equipment /processes/methods to ensure accuracy and repeatability of quality data through process capability studies, control charting, methods validation, out of specification/out of trend analysis demonstrating that GLP is practiced consistently. Document and maintain records of laboratory procedures, process and test data.Keep record of chemicals, glass wares, reagents inventories and MSDS for all chemicals. Support the purchase of laboratory item.
    RequirementsDiploma in Chemistry or Food related discipline.Minimum of 1 years’ experience in food/beverage or pharmaceutical multinational organization’s quality control department/laboratory operations.Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience would be considered as an advantage.Good Laboratory Practices (LGP) experience would be considered as an advantage.Demonstrated ability of executing food industry analytical testing.SAP knowledge would be considered as an advantage.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for providing the supply of raw materials for manufacturing operations, in order to maintain operations across all factories in line with Sales and Operating Plans (SOP) Manage planning parameters and related processes and objectivesLiaise with key stakeholders including supplier, production planner, procurement team, and logisticsParticipation in regular review meetings with production planning and logistics to ensure material coverageProactively review long lead time materials to ensure timely creation of requisitions to prevent stock outs and maintain safety stock level. Management of raw materials inventory within agreed budget guidelines Facilitate timely and accurate reconciliation of invoices and documentation with suppliers / accountsWork closely with freight forwarders to coordinate the delivery and receipt of materialsPlan and monitor inbound containers with freight forwarders/agentsDrive the performance of UISS Ingredients programs across Asia Plants Data improvement initiativesDevelop metrics for MM Asia, utilizing SAP/BW/ other approved tools and leveraging metrics produced by the Global TeamsCompletion of centralized metrics for MM in Asia - one source of truth. Tracking and updating of Material Master Data to ensure adherence to global best practice standards.Retrieve, synthesize and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to answer specific questions or improve system performance.Analyze historical data to identify trends and support decision making.Perform data exploration and foundational data analysis in support of long-term analytics objectives.Develop data-processing and technical workflows for delivery of data that driving performance improvement in MM and across the business by providing essential data and metrics to help better manage our businessOwnership of MRP II / SCE measures for area of responsibility.
    QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years of experience.Integrated supply chain concepts (MRP, ERP systems)Familiarity with SAP, knowledge and use of data tools will be an advantageStrong communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical abilitiesCustomer service management abilities (Listen, empathy, proactivity)
