    Consultant (Chemical Pathology)(Tengah General and Community Hospital)
    As the Clinical Biochemistry founder, you will commission and lead the service — designing its test menu, workflows, governance, quality, safety and team culture.

    Formulary Pharmacist(Tengah General and Community Hospital)
    The Formulary Pharmacist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the hospital's formulary system to ensure optimal medication management, cost-effectiveness, and patient safety. This includes policy development, stakeholder engagement, clinical preparation for specialised services, and supporting evidence-based prescribing practices across the organisation.
    The role focuses on strategic planning for formulary governance, antimicrobial stewardship, medication safety initiatives, and providing comprehensive drug information services to healthcare professionals.
    Job Responsibilities
    Strategic and Planning:Draft and maintain medication management policies, formulary governance guidelines, and gatekeeping processes for new drug requests.Collaborate with clinical heads (cardiology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, geriatrics) to align formulary decisions with service needs.Conduct benchmarking studies comparing formulary structures and drug utilisation patterns with other general/community hospitals locally and internationally.

    Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee Support:Prepare P&T meeting agendas, drug reviews, minutes, and correspondence.Update hospital drug list and conduct drug use evaluations.Review ADR reports for new drug classes and prepare annual reports.Complete MOH SDL applications and implement DAC/NPT initiatives.
    Education and Training: Prepare orientation modules for prescribers, nurses, and pharmacists on formulary use and restrictions.Coordinate Pharmacist Continuing Education programs.Train pre-registration pharmacists and support professional development.
    Future Proofing and Innovation:Conduct pharmacoeconomic studies to justify formulary inclusions/exclusions.Plan formulary support for special populations (geriatrics, pediatrics, renal/hepatic impairment).Implement sustainability initiatives including green pharmacy practices.

    Principal Pharmacist, Retail and Pricing (Tengah General and Community Hospital)
    Job Description: Retail (not limited to)Primary Responsibilities and Duties (30%)Evaluate Retail Assistant’s productivity in topping up, merchandising, housekeeping, handling customer enquiries and cashiering related activities. Review with supervisor on his/her progress.Handle customer enquiries and requests for specific products not available in retail pharmacy. Evaluate customer feedback and plans for improvement. Ensure Retail Assistant comply to and observe service ethics. Review and improve retail operation workflow in regards to ordering, returning goods and matters relating to enhance retail operation. Ensure that pharmacy stocks are kept in good condition and comply to shelf-life parameters. Ensures that a system of monitoring product expiry date is in place to reduce wastage. Monitor closely the financial and service performances of the retail operations. Regularly update HOD on retail outcome and action plans to address gaps (if any) to improve the financial and service performance.
    Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)Develop and implement skill development program for all Retail Assistants. The program should incorporate product, merchandising, cashiering and customer service training. Strategize and plan for retail pharmacy development and expansion. Review product range to ensure that it is current and up-to-date to meet customer’s needs.     Manager, PACS and Radiology Informatics(Tengah General and Community Hospital)
    We are seeking an experienced and innovative professional to lead the setup and implementation of Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and related clinical systems for our new radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the entire radiology informatics infrastructure from the ground up. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of radiology workflows and emerging technologies.
    Job Responsibilities: Design and oversee the implementation of the entire radiology informatics infrastructure.Develop a comprehensive plan for implementation of PACS, NGEMR, and other interfacing clinical systems with Synapxe team.Liaise with architects and facilities management to ensure optimal space allocation, technical requirements are aligned with IT security policies and established standards for the new department.Evaluate, procure, and implement a state-of-the-art PACS system.Ensure seamless integration of PACS with other hospital information systems (NGEMR, Billing systems etc).Engage with key stakeholders to design efficient radiology IT workflows, NGEMR and PACS configurations to meet the specific needs of the new department integrating best practices and innovative approaches.Establish comprehensive protocols for routine system maintenance, quality control and assurance, strategic upgrades, and efficient troubleshooting procedures.Develop disaster recovery scenarios and business continuity plans in the face of potential disruption. Recruit, train, and lead a team of PACS administrators and support staff.Develop job descriptions, assign roles, and establish performance metrics for team members.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Oversee all aspects of the radiology informatics setup project.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets by coordinating with various stakeholders, including vendors, IT departments, and hospital administration.Design comprehensive training programs for all end-users on new PACS and related systems.Develop user manuals, work instructions and standard operating procedures.Plan for ongoing education and skill development for staff.Research and propose cutting-edge technologies for the new department (e.g., AI-assisted imaging, cloud-based solutions).Develop a roadmap for future technology adoption and department growth.
    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business or related fieldor a related field.At least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver. Calm, decisive, and resilient in high-pressure situations. Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion. Possess strong analytical, communication, written and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, in a team and across teams with minimal supervision. Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationship at various levels. Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and nurture the team to meet institutional goals. Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new software and other relevant programs
