ABOUT THE ROLEAs a System Architect, you will be at the forefront of our mission to modernize banking core systems. You will lead the design and implementation of highly available, secure, and compliant cloud architectures on AWS for our tier-1 banking clients. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical mastery in distributed systems and a sophisticated understanding of core banking business logic (deposits, loans, payments, and clearing).
RESPONSIBILITIESCloud Architecture Design: Lead the design, planning, and implementation of AWS cloud-based architectures for banking core systems. Ensure all solutions meet "financial-grade" standards: high availability, high security, high performance, and strict regulatory compliance.Strategic Solutioning: Deeply analyze banking scenarios to design adaptive cloud-native solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, EKS, VPC). Balance technical excellence with cost optimization and business agility.Stability & Resilience: Build the gold standard for platform stability. Formulate and lead strategies for disaster recovery (DR), multi-region backup, capacity planning, and automated fault recovery to meet stringent RTO/RPO indicators.Technical Governance: Define technical specifications and author high-quality Architecture Design (AD) documents. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDExperience: 8+ years of IT architecture design experience, with at least 3+ years specifically within the core systems of banking, securities, or insurance.Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERREDRegulatory Expertise: Familiarity with CBIRC compliance, Cyber Security Grade Protection evaluation (MLPS), or international data security standards.Migration Experience: Experience in "Nationalization Replacement" projects or large-scale legacy-to-cloud migration for major banks.Global Banking: Experience in cross-border banking architecture and understanding of international financial business rules.Open Source: Experience in the secondary development or customization of open-source technology stacks integrated with AWS.Consulting Background: Previous experience in a technical consulting role, having participated in formulating AWS best practices for the financial sector.
