    Role Attributes:Internal Audit’s purpose is to strengthen the Singapore Life Holdings Pte. Ltd. and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) ability to create, protect, and sustain value by providing the Board, Audit Committee (AC) and Senior Management with independent, risk-based, and objective assurance, advice, insight, and foresight. Internal Audit (IA) does this by evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the governance, risk management and control processes including compliance with laws and regulations, and adherence to established policies. It also assesses whether significant risks are appropriately identified, adequately managed, and appropriately reported by the management and Risk function.
    This Audit Vice President role is to support the IA team in the fulfilment of the mandate in the Audit Charter authorised by the AC.

    Responsibilities:

    Professional Summary:We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our Pricing and Actuarial team, providing critical support in product pricing and operational processes. The role focuses on ensuring profitability and compliance while enabling timely product launches across a diverse portfolio, including participating, non-participating, investment-linked, and Indexed Universal Life products.

    Job Summary
    The Business Development Associate plays a key role in driving firm-level sales growth by activating partners, building wallet share, and supporting the smooth execution of sales campaigns across assigned Financial Advisory (FA) firms. The role involves day-to-day engagement, product and platform support, and timely follow-through across different distribution lines to help the team meet both net sales and APE targets.To succeed in this role, you should be proactive, motivated, and comfortable working with FA firms. Strong relationship-building skills, solid product knowledge, and confidence in delivering presentations or product trainings will be important.     Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of an appropriate risk-based audit plan, based on a detailed understanding of risks facing the business for the area of responsibility and for relevant themed reviewsParticipate in or lead (where appropriate) audit engagements covering the audit cycle end-to-end including planning, fieldwork and reporting.Plan audits efficiently by applying sound risk analysis skills and professional judgement to identify areas for in-depth reviewDeliver high quality working papers that support the final audit opinionIdentify areas for improvement in the operation of the business unitsCommunicate audit issues and results concisely and succinctly to management and influence management on the remedial actions.Deliver high quality objective and concise audit reportsAdhere to the internal audit methodology requirementsBuild an effective partnership with management and other control partners to influence an effective control frameworkOwn the interaction with business management for issue tracking and closureValidate the remediation of audit issues raisedManage individual time budgets for audits assignedContribute to the production of reports to Internal Audit key stakeholders (e.g. Audit Committees, Risk Committees, and Board Committees)Perform continuous monitoring, engage with stakeholders and stay up to date on key developments impacting the business risk profile including changes in business strategy, regulatory / industry standards.Support the audit risk assessment process to drive the appropriate audit planAdhere to the IA Charter and conform with the mandatory elements of the IIA’s International Professional Practices FrameworkContribute to wider IA initiatives and additional designated roles if/where appropriate or assignedKeep abreast of own professional development to enhance one’s skills and competenceTeamThis role reports to the Audit Executive Director and will be required to work collaboratively with members of the IA team.Requirements
    ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in internal/external audit /risk/ compliance in financial services industry. Experience in financial advisory activities will be preferred.Mature understanding of risk and controls, strong analytical skills and ability to drive appropriate management actions to mitigate risks.Knowledge of insurance and compliance related risks will be preferrableSound project management skills in leading or supporting complex technical and business reviewsExperience leveraging data and audit analytics to expand testing capabilities, coverage, and accuracy of testing resultsStrong written and verbal communication skillsConfident in interacting and conducting discussions with senior stakeholdersStrong collaborator with good interpersonal and influencing skills to build effective partnerships with management and other control functions.Agile and quick to adapt to rapidly changing priorities or circumstancesAbility to multi-task and effective under pressureStrong team player, works independently, self-starter and willing to assume personal responsibility and accountabilityConstantly reflecting and proactively contribute to process improvementsEducationAcademic: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related disciplineProfessional Certification(s): Professional audit or accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CIA, ACAMS)Key Stakeholders
