About the Centre for Future Skills (CSF)The goal for the Centre for Future Skills (CFS) is to identify and develop Future Skills domains that will meet the evolving training needs of both executives (CET) and undergraduates (PET), while offering flexible learning pathways through micro-credentials for alumni. To achieve this, the CFS is committed to building content intellectual property, sharing expertise, and enhancing the overall value proposition of the Singapore Institute of Management in key growth learning topics such as sustainability. This is a one-year contract position.
About the RoleTo support the success of CFS, we are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (Sustainability) to join our growing team. This role will act as a shared resource between our tertiary institute and adult learning subsidiary, with a primary focus on the domain of sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for curating relevant training programs and providing thought leadership in sustainability, identifying reputable partners, and helping to build a strong value proposition for our learners. The position also offers the opportunity to deliver instruction in some of the programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesCurate and Develop Sustainability Programs: Design, curate, and develop training content and courses on sustainability for both executive education and undergraduate learners.Collaborate with Program Partners: Identify and partner with reputable program providers, associates, and institutions to ensure high-quality offerings.Establish Joint Accreditations: Work closely with tripartite and professional bodies to establish joint accreditation for programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards.Program Instruction: Lead or co-facilitate courses and workshops as part of the sustainability program delivery.Content Innovation: Build intellectual property by developing and sharing cutting-edge sustainability content that addresses the future skills needs of professionals.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert for both the tertiary institute and the adult learning subsidiary, providing strategic insights and supporting program development and delivery.
Qualifications and SkillsDegree or professional certification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in sustainability-related roles, with demonstrated expertise in developing or delivering training programs.Strong network with reputable program partners and associates within the sustainability space.Experience working with accreditation bodies and familiarity with credentialing processes is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for education and professional development.Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, and emerging trends in Continuous Education and Training.Familiarity with funding regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes in the continuous education and training sector is desirable.Certification in ACTA/ACLP and/or DACE/DDDLP will be an advantage.

Faculty Talent HR Partnership and Support:Act as the primary Faculty Talent HR contact for faculty, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.Assist faculty with Faculty Talent HR inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Recruitment and Onboarding:Support faculty recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and selection processes.Facilitate the onboarding process for new faculty members, ensuring a smooth transition into the institution. Employee Relations:Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for faculty.Address and resolve faculty concerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.Ensure compliance with institutional policies and employment laws. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:2-3 years in HR, preferably with experience in higher education or part-time/adjunct faculty management.
