Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesHandle Joint Venture (JV) projects, including establishment/setup, profit-sharing calculations and partner reportingAssess JV partners’ financial strength and credit reports, and prepare management reports for decision-making on new projectsPossess working knowledge of AP, AR and GL with familiarity in full set of accountsPrepare monthly management accounts, annual financial statements and variance analysisEnsure timely and accurate GST and corporate tax filingsLiaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authoritiesEnsure compliance with local accounting standards and statutory requirementsSupport internal controls and process improvements
RequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplineMinimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industryKnowledge of the full process for establishing and managing Joint Ventures (JVs)Familiar with project-based accounting and cost controlStrong knowledge of tax regulations (GST & corporate tax)Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelDetail-oriented, independent, and able to meet tight deadlinesGood communication and stakeholder management skills
