  • Senior HVAC Engineer  

    - Tuas

    Responsibilities:Develop HVAC design basis and philosophies for accommodation, machinery spaces, control rooms, E‑rooms/E‑houses, galleys, battery rooms, and hazardous areas.Perform heat load/psychrometric calculations, ventilation and pressurization design, duct/chilled water/sea water, and smoke management strategies.Select and specify equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, fans, heat exchangers, filters, VFDs) with materials suited to marine environments (e.g., CuNi, 316L).Define control strategies and sequences (BMS/PLC/DCS), I/O lists, and integration with Fire & Gas cause‑and‑effect.Produce and review deliverables: datasheets, specs, HVAC diagrams/P&IDs, MTO, layouts, penetration details, installation standards, TBEs, and vendor document reviews.Lead Class/Flag submissions and close comments with ABS/DNV/LR/BV and relevant authorities; ensure compliance with SOLAS/IMO, MLC, ISO 15138, IECEx/ATEX, and client/yard standards.Coordinate interfaces with Hull, E&I, Piping, Structural, Safety; lead 3D modelreviews and clash resolution.Support yard/site: RFIs/TQs, inspections, FAT/SAT, commissioning, testing & balancing, and as‑built documentation.Mentor junior engineers/designers; contribute to HAZID/ENVID and support HAZOP where HVAC interfaces with process/safety.Requirements:
    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Specialized courses in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer are highly beneficial. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the marine, offshore or renewable energy sectors. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), MagiCAD, Carrier HAP (Hourly Analysis Program), Trane TRACE 700 and knowledge of Building Management Systems. Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with data analysis and interpretation. Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Package Manager (EPC, Procurement)

    Work closely with project management team, engineering team, operations team to ensure the planning and coordination of equipment packages are aligned, meeting contractual obligations and deliverables, and in schedule according to Require- On- Site (ROS) date.Maintain documentation and reporting for equipment package status, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure equipment package delivery within the agreed timeline. Organise and lead kick off meeting, alignment meeting and weekly progress meeting with vendor and record the minutes of meetings. Provide regular update to stakeholder on equipment package progress, challenges, changes in scope, and to coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely update of weekly/ monthly reports including procurement map.Resolve technical and commercial issues/ deviation and project challenges along with vendor and project team, and to provide solutions to keep the project on track.Ensure timely submission of vendor document such as Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Quality Plan, Procedures, Final Vendor Data Books are in place, and all required documentation as indicated in the respective equipment contract payment milestone are submitted and fulfilled. Monitor equipment package progress, including design reviews, manufacturing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and delivery schedules.Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project management, commercial (costing), logistics and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of packages, including variation orders. Coordinates with client’s representative, 3rd party inspector, project team and vendor for vendor site/ workshop visit for inspection and testing. To attend or lead the pre- inspection meeting if applicable.Follow up on the inspection activities and progress of the non- conformance report and punch list clearance. Ensure inspection Notifications for Inspection (NOI) is issued by vendor and forwarded to inspection agency in a timely manner to arrange for the required inspection visit. Review and approve inspection report submitted by 3rd party inspector and to transmit approved reports to vendor for vendor data book compilation.Review and approve Inspection Release Certificate (IRC) prior to final release of material/ equipment/ component. On site attendance for inspection. Support commissioning and handover activities, ensuring package functionality and performance.

    Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Process/ Marine Offshore/ Supply Chain Management or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in package management or project engineering within the marine or offshore industry.Strong understanding of marine systems and offshore equipment.Experience with contract management, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Ability to multi-tasking and able to work in a fast- paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft software (e.g. Excel/ Power BI/ Project), with strong understanding of Project Management principle.
