    A Singapore-based real estate investment and asset management firm is looking for an AVP/VP Finance. This is exciting opportunity for someone who is open to working in a lean enviroment, you will provide critical financial leadership across corporate reporting, fund operations, and complex transaction support.
    You will be a key partner to the investment and asset management teams, ensuring that the platform’s financial infrastructure is as agile and robust as its investment strategy.
    Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial Leadership: Lead corporate accounting, group consolidation, and the development of sophisticated management reporting/dashboards to guide executive decision-making.Fund Operations & Investor Relations: Oversee the financial lifecycle of investment funds, managing fund accounting, valuations, and ensuring high-transparency reporting to global investors.Deal & Transaction Support: Act as a core member of the deal team, providing analytical support for acquisitions and restructurings, including tax planning, FDD review, and NAV negotiations.Capital Markets & Financing: Manage banking relationships and oversee the preparation of financing documentation (CP/CS) for new acquisitions and refinancings.Operational Excellence: Maintain robust internal controls and manage relationships with external auditors, tax agents, and fund administrators across the APAC region.
    The Ideal Candidate You must be comfortable working independently and as part of a lean teamYou bring a strong track record from a senior finance role within Real Estate Private Equity (REPE), REITs, or a similar asset management platform.You are an expert in IFRS and consolidation, with a deep understanding of tax structuring and fund operations.You enjoy the "deal" side of finance and are comfortable reviewing SPAs and navigating the complexities of real estate acquisitions.You thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment where decision-making is efficient and communication lines are direct.

  • Our client is seeking an accomplished and commercially minded General Manager, Finance to join a leading private real estate fund with a sizable portfolio. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a high-growth environment, as the fund has clear ambitions to scale significantly over the coming years.
    Reporting directly to the Fund CFO, this position offers high visibility with senior leadership and meaningful involvement in strategic and investment-related initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting the fund's investment strategy, maintaining financial discipline, and driving long-term value creation.
    Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Oversight & Strategic Leadership Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and performance oversight.Partner with the CFO and investment/asset management teams to support portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.Oversee comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning at both fund and asset levels.
    Fund & Portfolio Management Oversee fund accounting, NAV reporting, and investor reporting deliverables.Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital planning, including distributions and funding requirements.Analyze asset-level financial performance and support asset management initiatives through performance tracking.
    Investment Support & Structuring Partner with the Investment team on new acquisitions, providing underwriting support and deal evaluation.Support transaction execution, including financial due diligence and coordination with external advisors.Collaborate on tax structuring for new investments and evaluate acquisition impact on fund-level returns.
    Treasury, Financing & Governance Manage cash optimization, banking relationships, and covenant complianceSupport negotiations with banks regarding financing terms and refinancing activities.Ensure accurate financial reporting (IFRS) and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.
    Candidate ProfileExperience: 15+ years of relevant experience, specifically including real estate private funds.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline, with a professional qualification (CPA, CA, or ACCA).Technical Skills: Proven expertise in transaction support, financial due diligence, tax structuring, and budgeting/forecasting within a real estate or private equity context.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage teams and act as a key finance business partner to internal and external stakeholders.
