We are currently looking for an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Lead to join us on a permanent role to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry.
Lead design and implementation of instrumentation, automation, and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) for manufacturing or life-sciences facilities.Manage the full calibration program including instrument classification, calibration intervals, procedures, and traceability to international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025).Ensure all instrumentation and calibration activities comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable).Oversee specification, installation, loop checks, and commissioning of field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical instruments).Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation and instrumentation systems.Develop and review calibration procedures, master instrument lists, and asset management systems (CMMS or calibration management software).Review and approve technical documentation including P&IDs, I/O lists, control narratives, loop diagrams, and calibration records.Coordinate with engineering, validation, maintenance, and QA teams to ensure instrumentation accuracy and control system reliability.Provide technical leadership and oversight to engineers and technicians supporting automation, instrumentation, and calibration activities.
