We are currently looking for a Mechanical Technician to join us on a permanent role to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry. Key Attributes/ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Perform mechanical installation checks, alignment, servicing, and maintenance of process equipment and utility systems.Support commissioning activities including equipment testing, troubleshooting, and start-up readiness.Inspect pumps, valves, motors, piping systems, tanks, and rotating equipment for compliance and functionality.Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with GMP and safety requirements.Assist with punch list closure, mechanical completion checks, and contractor supervision.Maintain accurate maintenance records and support handover to operations teams.Requirements:NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or manufacturing plants.Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, piping, HVAC, and utility systems.Familiarity with GMP, EHS, and permit-to-work systems preferred.Able to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Attributes/ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Execute commissioning activities for upstream, downstream, utilities, and process equipment systems.Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, design specifications, and vendor documentation.Lead system walkdowns, punch listing, and mechanical completion verification.Coordinate SAT, IOQ support, loop checks, functional testing, and start-up activities.Work closely with QA, Validation, Engineering, EHS, and Operations teams to ensure GMP compliance.Support troubleshooting, deviation resolution, and handover to operations.Requirements:Degree / Diploma in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.5+ years of commissioning experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or vaccine manufacturing projects.Strong knowledge of GMP environments and process equipment.Experience with clean utilities, CIP/SIP, reactors, skids, filtration, and aseptic systems preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced brownfield / greenfield project environment.
