About the CompanyWe are seeking a qualified HVAC Mechanical Engineer to design, implement, and manage heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems for projects in Singapore. About the RoleThe role involves designing and developing HVAC systems for various projects while ensuring compliance with local standards and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in Singapore.Perform cooling load calculations, equipment sizing, and duct/pipe design.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.Ensure compliance with Singapore standards, including Building and Construction Authority (BCA) codes and guidelines.Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.Conduct site inspections and supervise installation works to ensure quality and compliance.Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes.Ensure compliance with Singapore Standard SS553 and other relevant standards.Integrate energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in line with Green Mark Scheme requirements.Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HVAC design/engineering experience.Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and practices, including BCA regulations.Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit (BIM) and etc.Familiarity with ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems.Good understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability practices.Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred SkillsExperience with large-scale projects (e.g., commercial buildings, data centres, hospitals).Knowledge of chilled water systems, VRV/VRF systems, and district cooling.Experience in Green Mark or sustainable building projects.
