  • Position Overview
    We are seeking motivated and creative Teaching Associates who are passionate about teaching in small-group, active-learning environments. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy hands-on teaching, are open to exploring diverse teaching pedagogies, and are eager to grow professionally through varied classroom experiences.

    In this role, you will...
    Conduct engaging small-group lessons aligned with our student-centered, active-learning teaching philosophyDeliver an average of 9–12 lessons per week, including covering classes for peers when neededPrepare and deliver lessons using provided materials, while also contributing creative ideas, questions, and activitiesParticipate in teaching sessions outside the tuition centre, exploring alternative learning environments and pedagogical approachesAdapt teaching methods to suit students’ learning pace, styles, and academic needsSupport a collaborative teaching culture by sharing best practices and lesson insights with fellow tutorsMaintain a positive, professional, and energetic classroom environmentCommunicate effectively with students regarding lesson expectations and learning progressParticipate in marketing events and open houses as ambassadors of the company, as required.Your job might also entail other ad-hoc duties such as work on educational projects or events.

    Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and stakeholdersEnthusiasm and passion for education and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environmentPositive, self-resilient self-starter with strong work ethic.Proficiency in Research and Analytical Skills to improve educational content and methodologiesQualifications, such as a Bachelor's degree in Education, Sciences, or a related field. Relevant experience in Education is not required but will be an added advantageIdeal candidates should be comfortable teaching at least one science subject (Biology or Chemistry) at either the GCE ‘O’ Level or ‘A’ Level. Experience in teaching across both levels and/or both subjects is not required, but would be a welcome bonus and an opportunity for further growth.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
