    Regional Sales Manager-Asia Pacific
    This position is responsible for business development in Asia Pacific region with predominantly focus on Chemicals manufactures, to utilize his or her knowledge to identify, quantify and sell into new accounts, establish long term business relationship with chemicals customers, Work closely with each region and use all available resources from the group to transfer all knowledge to potential clients, this role reports to General Manager, Sales, Asia Pacific.
    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESTake sales ownership, business development as an individual contributor in Asia Pacific region to achieve sales targets by increasing business to existing and potential customers.Utilizes specific industry knowledge to diagnose supply chain needs. Develops and prepares strategic proposals. Participates to customer generated RFI, RFQ and RFP.Develops, builds rapport and nurtures long term partnerships with target accounts, translating the company capabilities to customer value, for maintaining and continually expanding account share penetration.Develop solutions unique to each company to reduce overall logistics costs, all whilst improving sales to current and new customers.Work closely with each region and use all available resources from the group to transfer all knowledge about potential clients.Maintain customer relationships throughout their contract to encourage contract renewal and/or extension, or issuance of a new RFQ
    QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of ten years of sales and/or key account management experience in chemical logistics fieldTracking record of business developmentGood presentation and communications skillsGood team player, result-oriented, open mind, and love to face challenge.Proficient in English and Mandarin to communicate with Head Office and Customers (Written/Spoken).University degree preferred.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    Support the Freight Forwarding department and Tank department for international ocean freight, local svcs in all Asia origin in particular Singapore,Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.Responsible for the Product Planning and ExecutionEstablish a carrier/agent’s pool and evaluation mechanism, optimize the procurement and evaluation process;Carrier & agents’ relationship Management to make sure the responsible region has sufficient support from Carriers and agents.Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. Conduct international transportation market research, evaluate market opportunities and trends.Organize the regular monthly/quarterly internal meeting, and other relevant meetings.Coordinate the communication and liaison with relevant business departments. Qualification:
    Minimum of 10 years’ experience in logistics company, or large international freight forwarder, experience of carrier rate negotiation, filling.Have a deep understanding of the international transportation market, excellent ability of resource integration and market development, and be able to continuously innovate the freight products. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. With integrity of professional ethics and steady professional quality, recognized JD values.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Business Development: Proactively identify potential business opportunities through extensive networks and research to secure Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).Develop new business across all product lines, including Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, and Project Logistics in Singapore & Malaysia.Explore opportunities to cross-sell products to both new and existing clients.Client Relationship ManagementForge and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in both new and existing accounts.Ensure account retention through excellent customer service.Market ExpansionLead the exploration and penetration of new markets, particularly in emerging regions where MW Logistics can establish a strong presence.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services.Identify and build infrastructure with reliable service providers and freight agents in overseas marketsEntrepreneurial InitiativesInnovate and drive business initiatives that enhance the company’s competitive edge.Identify and mitigate risks while maximizing opportunities for business growth.Foster a culture of entrepreneurship within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and agile decision-making.Operational InvolvementWork closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of business development strategies.Participate in the planning and management of projects to ensure they align with business objectives.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    15+ years of relevant business development experience in international freight forwarding, with at least 10 years of leadership experience.Proven sales track record and an excellent customer network in Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia is a must.Established strong working relationships and solid business resources with major carriers, including CMA, MSC, MSK, YML, ONE, etc.Ability to develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives.Experience in leading high-performing teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
