Associate, IT (1 Year Contract)
Job SummaryLion Global Investors is looking for a motivated IT Associate (Contract) to support day-to-day IT operations. This role provides frontline assistance across systems and applications while contributing to process improvements and AI-driven initiatives in a regulated financial services environment. We seek a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working across multiple IT domains, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and has a strong interest in financial systems and governance.
Job ResponsibilitiesIT OperationsProvide L1 support for end‑user issues across applications, endpoints, and systems.Manage user account administration (onboarding, changes, offboarding).Monitor, triage, and respond to MSS and NDR security alerts.Assist with system patch verification, system monitoring, and privileged access management (PAM) workflows.Track incidents & service requests and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with proper handover.
Governance, Documentation & CoordinationMaintain and update operational procedures, documentation, configuration records, and inventories.Support procurement, renewals, and vendor coordination.Document incidents and resolutions for audit and compliance requirements.
Asset & Configuration ManagementAssist with annual IT asset verification, tagging, reconciliation, and disposal tracking.Maintain inventories of hardware, software, and licensesTrack license renewals, subscriptions, and appliance maintenance.Provide support for custodian portals and asset-related coordination.
Continuous Improvement & General SupportContribute to process improvement, automation, and AI-driven initiatives.Handle ad‑hoc operational or project tasks as assigned.
Job RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline1–3 years of experience in technical or application support (including internships, academic projects, or part-time roles)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting and issue resolutionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholdersSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environmentInterest in automation and AI-assisted workflows to drive operational efficiency
