    Role PurposeWe are seeking a Group Accountant (Group Consolidation & Tax) with strong technical accounting expertise to lead group consolidation, statutory reporting, and tax/GST compliance across our regional entities.The Group Accountant will act as the technical anchor of the finance team,ensuring accuracy, control, and continuous improvement as the group modernises its systems and reporting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesGroup & Statutory ReportingManage monthly group consolidation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.Review entity financials and perform variance analysis prior to consolidation.Prepare management reports and ad-hoc analyses for management and board.Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and group accounting policies.Audit & ComplianceLead annual statutory audits for Singapore entities and the consolidated group.Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial firms.Review audit schedules, working papers, and ensure timely filing of statutory submissions.Maintain and monitor compliance calendars for audit, filing, and tax deadlines.Taxation & GSTReview and oversee corporate income tax computations and deferred tax workings.Manage quarterly GST submissions and reconciliations for Singapore entities.Oversee transfer pricing documentation, withholding tax, and cross-border tax issues.G/L Control & SystemsOversee the general ledger structure, chart of accounts, and intercompany reconciliations.Review and approve journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting policies.Manage inventory accounting and price-list updates.Act as SAP B1 system superuser and administrator, ensuring data integrity.Support finance-system enhancements, automation, and data-integration initiatives.Leadership & CollaborationSupervise and review the work of the Finance Executive (G/L & Reporting).Collaborate with operations and regional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.Support the Financial Controller on process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.Key RequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CA / CPA / ACCA qualification preferred.Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in accounting, with hands-on consolidation, audit, and tax exposure.Strong technical knowledge of SFRS and group reporting principles.Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and familiar with accounting systems (preferably SAP B1).Experience with automation or analytics tools (MS Copilot, Power Query, Power BI) is an advantage.Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.Effective communicator who can work independently and lead by example.Why Join UsPlay a pivotal role in shaping the group’s finance transformation journey.Work closely with leadership on regional reporting and compliance.Opportunity to grow into a Finance Manager / Financial Controller role as the group expands.CompensationMonthly Base Salary: SGD 5,500 – 6,500, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    Working ScheduleWeekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM 5-day work week (inclusive of weekends)
