    Responsibilities:
    Outsourcing Due Diligence and Ongoing MonitoringDue Diligence and Ongoing Monitoring of outsourced service providers (“OSP”):Review and evaluate information/documents provided by OSPGuide/assist contract owners on the completion of Outsourcing DD checklistsAddressing SME review comments (includes coordination with OSP to address queries)Coordination of clearance and approvals by respective SMEs and COsSupport to Head of Outsourcing for Management Tasks such as:Preparation of Outsourcing Deck on outsourcing DD results for BROF/BOD meetings.Update of outsourcing register & coordination of review by COs/teams.Reconciliation of outsourcing register with contracts register (Finance/Legal)Preparation of ad hoc information requests (e.g. to support GWS material outsourcing register HKIA reporting).
    Third Party Management “TPM” SupportProvide user guidance for TPM System (“TPM Journey”).Provide user support in resolving technical challenges related to TPM System, (includes raising SNOW tickets on behalf of COs in urgent cases, troubleshooting, and coordination with TPM tech team (PPCOE) on resolution).Generate TPM reports via PowerBI to support ad hoc info requests (e.g. IG CoE’s VCC TPM, BCM SME’s info requests).Support the quarterly KRIs reporting (tracking of status of Expired Contracts/TPMs).
    RCA / ISAE 3402 / Breach & Errors ReportingSupport the annual Risk & Control Assessment (RCA) process:Facilitate teams in completion of RCA (updates of controls description etc.).Providing user guidance and support on completing certification on the eGRC system.Support the ISAE3402 audit process:Collation of information and review of audit requests.Coordination of walkthroughs with departments.Support on Breach and Errors reporting (Error Log) and reporting of error statistics to EXCO/BOD (Coordination with IAI)
    Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Risk Management.Min. 5-7 years of experience in reviewing business operations and conducting outsourcing and/or operational risk assessments. Experience in compliance or audit would be considered too.CPA holders would be highly regarded.Experience in asset management firms, banks or consulting.

  • Operational Risk Specialist  

    - Singapore

    Role:This is a 6-month contract with possibility of extension.
    Working Location:Raffles Place
    Objective:Support the Associate Director, Risk with the operational risk management function in AIAIM.Provide inputs into the design, measurement, evaluation and reporting of operational risk areas of AIAIM’s business and co-ordinate risk reports for submission to AIAIM’s Risk Committee and other relevant committees.
    Responsibilities:Provide input into the development, management and maintenance of AIAIM’s risk framework, incorporating management tools, techniques and reports to support the business. These include, but are not limited to, risk appetite, risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), risk indicators, risk issues and operational risk incidents.Support the local Risk Committee and work with the Associate Director, Risk by organising the regular meetings and preparing the corresponding materials to ensure that key operational risks are identified, analysed, mitigated and monitored.Provide operational risk oversight by reviewing standards, policies and procedures, outsourcing checklists, RCSA and thematic reviews as required by management or prescribed in the relevant risk management policies and guidance notes.Proactively contribute to the process for evaluating and rectifying incidents across the business, ensuring timely resolution of incidents while putting clients’ interests first, identifying root causes, capturing lessons learnt, ensuring actions for future risk mitigation are appropriately implemented taking into account other relevant business areas and processes.Ensure that local policies are in place for each of the key risks that are consistent with AIAIM’s risk appetite as well as the Group’s risk policies by working closely with all the relevant departments within AIAIM.Provide oversight of AIAIM’s risk governance structure covering business-specific local policies, limits, controls, metrics and thresholds while ensuring that they are aligned with the Group’s overall risk management framework by working closely with all the relevant departments within AIAIM.Support the Associate Director, Risk on matters involving relevant external stakeholders, such as auditors, industry bodies and regulatory authorities, on risk-related matters.
    Requirements:A degree holder in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related principles with relevant experience in Operational Risk. Experience in external or internal audit would be an added advantage.6-7 years of working experience within an asset management business either in an operational or a control function, such as risk management, compliance or audit. Roles in investment or investment operations would also be useful.Knowledge in Asset Management Regulations, Securities and Futures Act, good understanding of Singapore asset management regulatory framework is preferred.Good knowledge and hands-on experience in risk management frameworks, methodologies, tools, RCSA and key risk indicators.Highly motivated self-starter, excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, conscientious and flexible good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks, plan time and meet deadlines, collaborative mentality, along with the gravitas to work closely with senior stakeholders.
