YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs.Provide exceptional customer service and support to retain clients and build long-term partnerships.
Needs Assessment and Analysis:Conduct thorough assessments to understand client’s specific needs and objectives.Analyze the existing employee benefits programs and identify areas for improvement on renewal.Help clients manage and control the costs of their benefits.Provide strategies for cost containment.
Market Research and Plan Design:Identify the insurance market to find best available plans and carriers.Design customised employee benefits plans that align with client’s goals and budget.Present multiple options and explaining the benefits and drawbacks of each.
Negotiation:Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure the best rates and terms for the client.Leverage industry knowledge and relationships to obtain favourable terms for clients.
Employee Communication and Education:Conduct in-person or online sessions to brief employees on their benefits.Provide on-going support to answer employee/HR questions and resolve issues/
Claims Management:Assist in claim escalations from HR or employeesAct as a liaison between employee and insurance carriers to resolve claims issues, if applicable
Renewals:Review performance of the insurance plans to ensure they continue to meet client’s needs.Recommend changes to the plans based on feedback from client and/or industry trends.Conduct remarketing exercise to compare the terms against existing insurance carrier.Provide claim analysis report to inform clients the claim trends of employees
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:Experience in International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) is mandatory.Excellent report writing skillsGood team spiritResilient and able to meet deadlinesAble to build relationship across all levelsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacityA recognized degree in any discipline and/or professional insurance qualificationsGood working knowledge of employee benefits productsGood communication and interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written English (Effective bilingual in Mandarin will be bonus)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Client Relationship Management / Account Servicing / LeadershipResponsible for client relationship management and business retention for Corporate Risk businessExperienced in handling Major Corporate insurance, specifically in Property and Casualty; Marine and Logistic related insurance will be advantageousOverseeing a portfolio of accountsCoach and mentor junior brokers on efficient account management and effective client relationship management.Collaborate with other divisions, leveraging on in-depth knowledge of internal service and product offerings, market trends and developments against the business requirements of individual accounts.Develop trusting relationships with clients and insurersFoster a cohesive and collaborative team culture within the division as well as across the company
OUR REQUIREMENTS:With a minimum 8 years in an insurance broking firm or similar capacityEnjoys working with people and building relationships with peopleDeadline-driven and detail-oriented - meticulous approach to tasksExperienced in managing a team will be an advantageExperienced in MNC accounts and/or handling tendersStrong communication skills – the ability to articulate thoughts clearly in both writing and speech (English is required; Mandarin is an advantage)Sound knowledge & good understanding of local statutory insurance requirements
