The Deputy Head of Finance reports to the Head of Finance, who in turn reports to the Chief Financial Officer. This is a role perfectly suited to a specialist in regulatory reporting, with sound knowledge of accounting and finance regulations in the Singapore banking industry.     Your new role
    Work closely with and support the Head of Finance in the overall running of all financial functions to ensure that the businesses are adequately supported, and internal and external reporting requirements are met. This involves overseeing monthly financial closing, P&L reporting and ensuring daily compliance with MAS regulatory requirements.
    Safeguard the integrity and accuracy of accounting data and records and report exceptions, if any, to the Head of Finance.
    Provide support in financial planning activities, including annual budget and review of monthly management P&L reports.
    Participate in annual corporate tax filing and FATCA/ CRS reporting matters.
    Assist in reviewing new products and advise on tax, accounting structures and systems, if required.
    Ensure proper discharge of accounting and finance-related services and duties under any Service Level Agreement entered by Singapore with other businesses in Asia.
    Strong understanding of corporate banking businesses, including complying with local and head office accounting rules, tax laws and policies.

    A qualified Accountant with a degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
    At least 10 years of experience working in the Finance department in a bank or a similar function in a financial institution.
    Possesses strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability.

    Possesses a strong sense of process, data governance and controls.

    Your new role

    The Fund Accounting Manager will lead a team within a rapidly expanding segment of the organisation.     Strong understanding of alternative fund structures, fee mechanics, performance calculations, and regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions.
    Proven ability to interpret and apply fund agreements and fee-related documentation.
    Solid data analysis and data management capability.
    Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA) is advantageous but not mandatory.
