  • OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the precision engineering sector. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to achieve the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, advanced manufacturing techniques, and a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
    Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess Development and ImplementationDesign and develop manufacturing processes for new products and optimize existing processes to improve quality and efficiency.Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for manufacturing projects.Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.Create detailed process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.Transfer process knowledge to production teams.
    Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address process deficiencies.
    Quality AssuranceEnsure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Work closely with the quality team to develop and implement quality control plans.Participate in internal and external audits and address any findings related to manufacturing processes.
    Technical SupportProvide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve process performance.Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices.Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to identify and implement new technologies and equipment.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

    Position RequirementsEducation Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Experience Level Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the precision engineering sector.

    Skills Desired:Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment used in precision engineering.Experience with CAD/CAM software, ideally SolidWorks, MasterCam and other engineering tools.Knowledge of technical drawings and BOM.Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Able to work under pressure with minimum supervisionKnowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements applicable to precision engineering.

This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects that meet client specifications and company standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:The Program Engineer in the Precision Engineering industry is responsible for managing technical and operational aspects of complex, high-precision engineering projects. This role bridges the gap between engineering teams, program managers, and clients, ensuring the successful design, development, and delivery of precision-engineered products. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional project management skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes in the precision engineering sector.
    Project Coordination:Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for precision engineering programs.Collaborate with NPI, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure project objectives are met.Monitor project progress, resolving technical and logistical challenges as they arise.
    Engineering Support:Provide technical expertise in precision engineering processes, including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology.Oversee the development of prototypes and ensure manufacturability of designs.Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for high-precision components and systems.
    Quality Assurance:Ensure all projects adhere to strict quality and tolerance standards typical of the precision engineering industry.Coordinate testing, validation, and inspection processes for components and assemblies.
    Stakeholder Communication:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams regarding technical and programmatic updates.Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments to stakeholders.

    Position Requirements:Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
    Experience Level Requirements:4-5 years and above of experience in program or project engineering roles within the precision engineering or manufacturing industry.Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and high-precision measurement tools is a plus.Strong knowledge of precision manufacturing processes and materials.Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is a plusExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong project management skills, including experience with tools like MS Project.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
    Preferred Attributes:Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.Experience in managing customer relationships in sectors like Semiconductor, aerospace, medical devices and Analytical life Sciences.Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques, such as additive manufacturing and laser machining is a plus.
