  • Regional Sales Manager

    Job summary We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for APAC to grow our Homeland Security business. Candidates based in other locations in APAC will be considered. You will be fully responsible for sales results in the assigned APAC region. This role is about execution, ownership, and delivery. The focus is clear: New business growth New customers Measurable results At the end of the day, only results matter. Your mission Own and grow the Homeland Security business in APAC Deliver or exceed agreed sales targets Build long-term business with government and security customers Turn strategy into real revenue New business focus Main focus is finding new customers Open new logos and new opportunities Use your existing network to accelerate business growth Actively develop new customer relationships in the region This is not a passive account management role. Sales strategy and execution Define and execute the regional sales strategy Identify key customers, channels, and market segments Build clear business and sales plans and execute them Managing complex sales cycles Handle long and complex sales cycles Build relationships with multiple stakeholders on the customer side Understand decision roles and influence paths Close deals, not just open discussions Way of working: CRM, pipeline, and forecasting Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline Use CRM as a core sales management tool, especially for complex and long sales cycles Convert customer discussions into real opportunities Deliver realistic and reliable forecasts Forecasting is a key input to company strategy, not an administrative task. Customer value selling Communicate confidently with senior customer management Focus on customer value and impact, not only product features Adapt messaging to customer needs and use cases Internal collaboration Work closely with Application Engineers as a winning team Cooperate effectively with Product Management, Operations, and Support Ensure customer needs are clearly understood internally Provide continuous market feedback on customers, competitors, and technology trends You represent the customer voice inside the company. Required background and experience – Sales Strong sales track record in public sector and government security Experience in Homeland Security, police, defense, military, or intelligence environments Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Ability to show results, not just describe activity Market and technical understanding Existing network and understanding of governmental security markets Experience with wireless or communication technologies preferred Comfortable working with technical solutions and technical customers Personal profile and attitude Strong ownership mentality Takes responsibility when things go wrong Does not blame others for poor results Open to feedback and continuous improvement Professional, honest, and trustworthy Able to work in a multi-cultural environment Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset No one is perfect — willingness to improve is mandatory. Practical requirements and education Willingness to travel (approximately 50%) University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar (or equivalent experience) Final note This role offers freedom with responsibility.
