  • Job Description:Establish and sustain advanced thin film coating processes to support high-volume optical production. Lead new process introductions through structured development, capability enhancement, and equipment upgrade/investment initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in yield, cycle time, and scrap reduction through process optimization and tool enhancements. Ensure proper substrate preparation and handling, including integration into coating workflows under controlled cleanroom conditions. Operate and maintain metrology instruments for thin film characterization (e.g., spectrophotometers, profilometers). Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to maintain process stability and on-time delivery. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process control plans. Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including evaluation of non-conforming materials and determination of corrective actions for NCMR cases. Collaborate cross-functionally with production supervisors, technicians, and engineers to achieve delivery and quality targets. Apply materials science principles in tooling selection, manage material behavior, and ensure coating quality meets AS9100D and ISO standards.     Job Requirements:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Diploma in Physics, Materials Science, Optics, or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in thin film coating within a manufacturing environment; experience in optical thin film coatings is preferred. Strong understanding of thin film design and experience with relevant software tools. Hands-on experience with vacuum evaporation and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes is preferred. Proficiency in thin film design software such as FILM STAR, OptiLayer, TFCalc, or equivalent. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing principles.   • Job Description:Oversee night shift operations. Manage optics production and lead a team of skilled leaders, technicians, and operators. Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Planning teams to meet production KPIs, including OTD, quality (yield and scrap), employee efficiency, and cost control. Drive continuous improvement projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    Daily Responsibilities:Conduct MRB reviews with the Engineering team to make decisions on defective products. Manage machine prioritization schedules. Validate and approve Time Management System records for production staff. Attend production meetings with the Planning team to provide updates on delivery commitments, quality issues, and machine status. Conduct daily production meetings with section leaders to review delivery commitments, quality issues, and machine status. Raise machine maintenance notifications in SAP. Handle activities such as following up on rework, arranging overtime, raising purchase requisitions (PR), performing material kitting for new loading, and generating SAP WIP reports.     Weekly Responsibilities:Attend machine maintenance review meetings and coordinate with the Maintenance team to drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). Participate in FAT reviews with the NPI team. Attend supervisor meetings to provide updates on machine capacity, manpower, technical issues, and production challenges.
    Monthly Responsibilities: Submit Kaizen initiatives for departmental improvements. Participate in Small Group Activities for continuous improvement projects. Conduct 6S line inspections and audits. Update and present 6UPs (KPIs) to the HOD. Attend EHS meetings to report on safety, environmental, and facility-related issues. Update machine utilization data in SAP for capacity planning. Maintain and update the skill matrix and manage single-point failure processes.
    Others: Identify and develop technicians or operators for progression to the next skill level.Take ownership of EHS-related items such as chemical spill kits, first aid boxes, chemical cabinets, and chemical waste disposal.
    Job Requirements:Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (e.g., NTC2 in Precision Optics Manufacturing). Minimum 10 years of experience in production or industrial manufacturing; experience in optics production is an added advantage. Knowledge of optics manufacturing processes (preferred) or general industrial manufacturing. Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing teams of more than 50 operators/technicians to achieve production KPIs. Strong follow-up skills with a high sense of ownership. Able to work permanent or rotating night shifts, including weekends.

This position is responsible for leading complex research, design development, and experimental investigations related to plasma light sources, power electronics, and system-level integration. This position serves as a technical expert, guiding projects from concept through commercialization while ensuring performance, reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.
    Job Description:
    Drive the design and development of plasma lighting products (e.g., Cermax, Excimer lamps), working closely with Pleasanton counterparts and interfacing with the Batam manufacturing team, ultimately leading to mass production in Batam.Conduct developmental research and competitor analysis to support future technical roadmaps, conceptual design, and innovation.Provide technical leadership to manage and deliver product/process timelines and critical paths in alignment with project objectives and targets.Develop and optimize manufacturing processes by analyzing requirements and designing or adapting methods and equipment.Provide technical support for production equipment setup and critical parameter definition in Batam, ensuring manufacturability using tools such as Measurement System Analysis (MSA/GR&R), PFMEA, and lean equipment layout concepts.Improve manufacturing efficiency (capacity and productivity) by analyzing workflows and optimizing equipment layout.Lead and manage customer sample requests.Collaborate with the Batam team to ensure product and process quality (yield) through robust process design, capability studies, and standardized documentation (WI, FMEA, PCP).Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.Ensure effective communication and information flow to Pleasanton management.Define specifications for NPI and travel regularly to Batam to support implementation and production ramp-up.Be willing to travel frequently to Batam to work directly on production lines and support NPI activities.
    Job Requirements:

An advanced degree is an advantage.At least 7 years of engineering experience in R&D, product development, or advanced technology roles within the lighting, plasma, high-intensity discharge (HID), or related high-energy systems industries.Demonstrated expertise in plasma light source technology (e.g., plasma generation, thermal management, gas discharge physics) is preferred.Proven track record of leading complex product development cycles from concept and feasibility through prototyping, testing, validation, and commercialization.Hands-on experience in experimental design, including building test setups, designing experiments, collecting data, and performing structured analysis to optimize system performance.Strong communication and organizational skills.Knowledge of hermetic sealing, high-temperature processes, optics and light measurement, thermal modeling, and controlled atmosphere brazing is preferred.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for plasma arc lighting devices.Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts and the ability to apply them in projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage.Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA is desirable.

    Job Description:Create CNC programs for turning operations to support production needs, including the preparation of FAT and FAI orders. Provide troubleshooting support for CNC machines, including resolving program-related issues and making adjustments when new or alternative cutters are used. Operate and work with machines such as DMG, Mori Seiki, Mazak, and systems using Fanuc and Siemens controls. Coordinate and manage cutting tools, including sourcing and ordering existing and new cutters from suppliers as required. Monitor tool room staff activities, including workload, attendance, and daily scheduling. Work closely with engineers to plan and align machining processes and methods. Coordinate with engineers to ensure tool room schedules align with project timelines and completion targets.
    Job Requirements:Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in a relevant field. Relevant work experience and certifications. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CNC turning programming.   • Job Description:
    Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing or operational processes to improve yield, quality, cycle time, and cost. Analyze process performance using data, statistical tools, and root cause analysis techniques. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process issues, deviations, and bottlenecks. Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). Select and qualify diamond tools based on material properties (ZnSe, Ge, Si, metals, polymers), and optimize feeds, speeds, and coolant usage to minimize tool wear. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain, ensuring processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.     Job Requirements:
