    The incumbent will be responsible for:
    Strategy and PlanningSupport the Head of Group CEO’s Office, Group CEO and senior management in coordinating the implementation of Group strategies, policies, and initiatives approved by senior management.Assist in consolidating inputs from Group functions and business units to support strategic planning and alignment with Group objectives.
    Business Performance and ManagementProvide recommendations, monitor and implement initiatives across the Group to leverage on synergies, minimise costs and improve governance.Assist in tracking assigned business initiatives and strategic projects, including progress updates, issue escalation, and follow-ups with relevant stakeholders.
    Strategic ProjectsProvide coordination and execution support for key Group-level projects, including high-impact and complex initiatives, as assigned by the Head of Group CEO’s Office or Group CEO or senior management.Maintain project timelines, track deliverables, and support resolution of issues to ensure timely completion.
    Management ReportingPrepare management reports, dashboards, and presentation materials to support senior management’s review and decision-making.Assist in the preparation of reports and information required by stakeholders, including shareholders, as requested.Act as a coordination point with shareholders of CGS International Group for ad hoc information requests and support the enhancement of business proposal papers for approval processes.
    External CommunicationsCoordinate communications with Chinese counterparties and facilitate engagement with relevant internal business units and stakeholders under the direction of the Head of Group CEO’s Office or Group CEO or senior management or shareholders.
    Ad-hoc SupportProvide bilingual (English and Chinese) translation and interpretation support for board papers, presentation materials, and shareholder-related documents, and support senior management meetings and presentations, including live translation when required.Support the Group CEO or senior management or shareholders in logistics and arrangement of external meetings.

    Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Risk professional to lead risk oversight for our Private Equity (PE) business. The role requires deep expertise in PE transactions, portfolio monitoring, valuation, and risk governance. The Associate Director / Director will work closely with investment teams, senior management, and the Board to ensure a robust and proactive risk management framework across the PE investment lifecycle Key Responsibilities 1. Investment Risk Oversight • Lead independent risk assessments for proposed PE investments, evaluating deal structures, return drivers, downside scenarios, and key risk factors. • Provide risk recommendations to Investment Committees (IC) and senior leadership. • Review and challenge financial models and valuation assumptions, ensuring rigorous scenario and sensitivity analysis. 2. Portfolio Risk Management • Oversee risk monitoring of the PE portfolio, including operational, financial, liquidity, and concentration risks. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk dashboard for senior management and the Board. • Identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies. 3. Valuation Oversight • Lead independent valuation reviews of portfolio companies and fund positions. • Ensure alignment with valuation policy, challenge assumptions when necessary, and maintain transparency. 4. Risk Framework & Policy Development • Enhance PE risk policies, procedures, and limits in line with industry best practices. • Strengthen documentation standards for deal assessments and ongoing monitoring. • Support the development of risk appetite and governance frameworks for alternative investments. 5. Governance & Reporting • Prepare and present risk reports for senior management, IC, and Board-level committees. • Ensure timely escalation of material risks or emerging issues. • Support internal audit, regulatory reviews, and compliance initiatives. 6. Leadership & Collaboration • Mentor and guide junior risk staff, fostering a strong risk culture. • Partner with investment, operations, compliance, legal, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end risk governance. • Act as a constructive challenger while supporting the business to achieve sustainable returns.7. Ancillary Risk Management• Provide support where required in the holistic risk management of the firm, including market, credit and operational risk.
    Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field; CFA, CAIA, or equivalent preferred. • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Private Equity, alternative investments, or investment risk management. • Proven track record in PE deal structuring, portfolio risk oversight, and valuation review. • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in PE risk management. • Chinese language proficiency is an advantage to liaise with our Chinese counterparts

    Daily Business-as-Usual (BAU) Operations
    Execute end-to-end processes including trade capture, trade validations, settlements, and life-cycle events.Perform daily reconciliations (cash and positions) and investigate breaks in coordination with internal teams and external counterparties.Monitor intraday and end-of-day trade flows to ensure completeness, accuracy and timely processing across systems.Handle corporate actions processing to ensure accurate reflection in our CFD books and recordsSupport collateral operations, including exceptions handling, and regulatory reportingEnsure operational controls are followed and escalate risks, incidents or process gaps promptly.Contribute to maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency within the CFD Operations team.
    Projects, Enhancements and Change Management
    Participate in System enhancement projects, new product launches, process improvements, and regulatory initiatives.Drive business requirement gathering, documentations, and alignment across stakeholders.Perform system testing (UAT) and validations of new or updated operational workflows.Collaborate with technology teams to identify root causes of operational issues and propose solutions.Support project governance through progress tracking, reporting, and risk/issue management.
    Job Requirements:Strong understanding of Financial Markets Operations and financial market infrastructure.Ability to manage both BAU workload and project tasks concurrently, with good prioritization and time-management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of automation tools (SQL, VBA, Power BI) is a plus.Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively across Trading, Technology, Risk, Finance, compliance and external brokers/clients.Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive improvements, and operate in fast-paced environment.Associate Level: 0 to 3 years of experiences in Financial Markets Operations (Preferably in equities or derivatives)Senior Associate Level: 3+ Years of Financial Markets Operations experience with demonstrated ownership of project/change initiatives and BAU processesBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines.
