  • Technical Sales Engineer

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing and expanding business relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering simulation-driven solutions that create true value for industries across Singapore.
    Key Responsibilities:Develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers to generate new business for ANSYS’ simulation software and services.Understand customer engineering challenges and recommend tailored ANSYS solutions across structural, fluid, thermal, electromagnetic, systems, and multiphysics domains.Prepare and execute comprehensive account plans including customer profiles, value mapping, strategy, goals, tactics, and milestones.Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets, driving cross-sell, upsell, and new business opportunities.Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities.Generate leads through prospecting activities, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events or seminars.Maintain deep product and industry knowledge to position ANSYS as a leader in simulation-driven innovation.Work closely with technical application engineers, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver best-in-class customer support and drive customer satisfaction.Submit accurate sales forecasts, progress updates, and ensure proper documentation of sales activities.
    We would love to hear from you if:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related fields.Strong background or understanding of simulation/CAE software (structural, thermal, CFD, electromagnetics, systems).Experience in applying engineering design, FEA, CFD, optimization, multiphysics, additive manufacturing, or digital twin technologies is highly desirable.Proven track record in solution selling, consultative sales, or technical sales in engineering software or related sectors.Demonstrated ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver customized value propositions.Ability to develop and execute detailed sales and account strategies, including clear objectives and milestones.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Fluency in English.Track record of sales and experience in one or more of the industry sectors below is advantageous:- Academic/Research, Aerospace- Automotive- Defense- Electronics- Healthcare & MedTech- HVAC & Construction- Industrial Equipment- Materials & Chemical Processing- Marine, Oil & Gas- Precision Engineering

    Key Responsibilities:Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive retention, satisfaction, and business growth.Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of paying customers, ensuring successful engagement, renewals, and account expansion.Develop a deep understanding of customers’ business objectives, workflows, and challenges to provide strategic, value-driven solutions.Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers during onboarding, implementation, and adoption phases to ensure a seamless customer journey.Drive new business acquisition by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market engagement.Build and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).Identify opportunity signals within existing accounts and proactively drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives to expand revenue.Maintain a healthy and well-qualified sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.Leverage strong knowledge of CRM platforms, SaaS solutions, and business processes to assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.Deliver impactful product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and configuration workshops that clearly articulate value and ROI.Act as a trusted advisor by consulting with customers on workflow optimization, collaboration improvement, and productivity enhancement using Monday.com.Initiate and lead solution-focused discussions aligned with both customer goals and company objectives.Stay current on Monday.com’s features, integrations, AI capabilities, and SaaS trends to effectively communicate value propositions.Translate technical functionality into clear, compelling business outcomes for stakeholders and decision-makers.Challenge customer assumptions where appropriate and guide leaders toward operational improvements through CRM- and data-driven insights.
    We would love to hear from you if:Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Have a strong foundation in CRM platforms, SaaS solutions, sales automation, or customer experience tools, and understand how technology enables business growth.Possess knowledge of sales process optimization, lead management, workflow automation, data analytics, or customer journey mapping.Are tech-savvy, with hands-on experience using CRM tools, SaaS platforms, and AI-powered tools to drive efficiency and insights.Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple organizational levels.Are a strategic, consultative seller with a passion for technology-driven transformation and problem-solving.Are results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable balancing relationship management with proactive prospecting and pipeline development.
