    Job Description
    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to develop high-precision mechanical modules for advanced packaging applications in the semiconductor industry. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and optimizing mechanical components to meet stringent industry requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance equipment performance.
    Key Responsibilities
    Analyze customer requirements and translate them into mechanical design specifications.Generate and validate design ideas using force analysis, thermal simulation, vibration simulation, and module lifetime estimation.Select the most efficient design solutions, considering cost, manufacturability, and reliability.Handle material selection to ensure durability and compatibility with semiconductor processes.Design precision tooling and fixtures to support advanced packaging processes.Develop 3D engineering models and perform structural analysis.Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineers to ensure seamless integration and design for manufacturability (DFM).Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance design efficiency, performance, and reliability.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in accordance with Singapore’s workplace regulations.
    Job Requirements
    Master’s degree and PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines, including but not limited to Mechanics, Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.3 years of relevant working experience (mechanical design) preferred; fresh graduate are welcome.Strong interest and enthusiasm in mechanical design, mechanisms, and mechatronic systems.Passion for semiconductor equipment, automation, or precision engineering industries.Proficiency in at least one CAD or drafting software.Solid foundational knowledge of engineering mechanics.Basic understanding of engineering materials and their applications.Fundamental knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.

  • We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead supplier quality management and ensure compliance with ASMPT’s quality standards. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive improvements, conduct audits, and support project transfers to contract manufacturers.
    Key Responsibilities:The role focuses on incoming material quality, ensure suppliers follow up ASMPT quality requirements:Work with internal and external team on incoming quality and keep communicating with ASMPT teams and suppliers for quality related topic.Improve supplier quality system, will lead quality system audit, product and process audit.Keep updates for supplier quality performance, drive improvement together with partner teams.Lead quality activities during project transfer from IM to CM, FB X-Hi, as a key contact window to CM quality.As a key member of the transfer project, work closely with ROW team to qualify CM and launch project as time scheduled, maintain quality requirement at CM side.Keep on site for training, audit and review progress of project, confirm result.Communicate with the internal team for incoming quality and drive improvement at CM side.
    Qualifications & Skills8+ years in any engineering disciplines. engineering / quality engineering / manufacturing operation / supplier quality management (electronics/consumer goods/mechanical assembly and fabrication).Experienced in ISO 9001/IATF 16949, cross-functional communication to all levels of people and with problem solving skills.Knowledge of DOE and SPC for engineering analysisUnderstand manufactory process and process control, prefer have one of experience on Assembly, machining, or second process.Able to spend ample time on supplier sites and able to travel as needed.
