Job Description:Responsible for the effective implementation and successful completion of construction projectsProduce the Project Execution Plan and responsible for the financial viability, on time delivery and customer controlLiaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authoritiesManage each phase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost effectivenessIdentify possible risks to project and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risksCoordinates all site works including third party vendors, ensuring works meet specification and briefsResponsible for successful and quality project handover to the Client
Requirements:Min Bachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringPossesses at least 20 years of experience in LTA / MRT projectsDemonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skillsConfident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team

They are looking for a Head of MEP to lead the strategic planning, design management, coordination, and execution of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across multiple large-scale projects in Singapore. This role is critical to ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration of MEP systems within complex construction environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the MEP function across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and project delivery goalsDevelop and implement MEP strategies, standards, and best practices across the organizationBuild and mentor a high-performing MEP team, including project managers, engineers, and coordinatorsOversee end-to-end MEP delivery from design development through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handoverEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsProvide technical leadership in resolving complex MEP coordination and site issuesReview and approve MEP designs to ensure compliance with Singapore codes, standards, and client requirementsLead coordination with architects, structural teams, and specialist subcontractorsDrive BIM integration and clash detection processes for MEP systemsEnsure all MEP works comply with local regulations, including requirements set by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB), BCA, SCDF, and other authoritiesLiaise with regulatory bodies for approvals, inspections, and certificationsEnsure proper submission and endorsement by Qualified Persons (QPs) where requiredOversee MEP budgeting, cost control, and value engineering initiativesLead procurement strategies for MEP systems and subcontractorsEvaluate and manage subcontractor performance and contractsAct as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities on all MEP-related mattersPresent technical solutions and progress updates to senior stakeholdersEnsure client satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and quality delivery
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)Minimum 15–20 years of relevant experience in MEP within the construction industryProven track record in leading MEP delivery for large-scale projects (e.g., condo, AEI works, data centres)Experience working with Tier 1 main contractors in Singapore or similar marketsStrong knowledge of Singapore codes, standards, and authority submission processesExpertise in MEP systems design, installation, and commissioningProficiency in BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and digital construction workflowsStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities
