We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician/Engineer with strong proficiency in Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and preferably hands-on experience in high-temperature furnace operations.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving complex mechanical and thermal systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, piping networks, instrumentation, and furnace equipment.Diagnose and resolve issues related to valves, pumps, flow systems, instrumentation loops, and thermal equipment.Ensure furnace operations meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
2. P&ID Interpretation & System ManagementRead, interpret, and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams for facility equipment.Verify that plant systems are installed, modified, and maintained according to approved designs.Support engineering teams during system upgrades or new installations.
3. High-Temperature Furnace Operations (Preferred)Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot high-temperature furnaces, kilns, or thermal processing equipment.Maintain temperature control systems, burners, thermocouples, insulation, and refractory materials.Support process optimization to improve furnace efficiency and reduce downtime.
4. Safety & ComplianceEnsure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, EHS standards, and regulatory requirements.Conduct hazard assessments and apply safe work practices.
5. Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and P&ID updates.Provide technical reports on equipment performance, failure analysis, and improvement recommendations.
QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related engineering field.Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams.Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills in industrial or manufacturing environments.Experience with valves, pumps, instrumentation, and process equipment.Experience with high-temperature furnace operations, thermal systems, or heat-treatment equipment.Knowledge of combustion systems, refractory maintenance, or thermal process control.Familiar with PLCs, SCADA, or automation systems (added advantage).
Soft SkillsGood analytical and problem-solving abilities.Able to work independently and in a team environment.Strong safety awareness and discipline.Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities:Establish new contacts and develop new accountBuild strong customer relationships with accountsDevelop sales forecast and marketing plan for key accountsWork with sales and marketing team to achieve sales growthSpearhead and / or support overseas marketing activities such as seminars, tradeshows, exhibitions etc.Keep abreast of competitors’ activities and identify required strategies accordingly.
Requirements:Degree in relevant courseMinimum 3 years of BD/sales/marketing experience in MedTech and/or Precision Engineering industry preferredAble to carry out market research and intelligence to reach targeted companiesAble to generate new program from potential and current customerExperience in BD/marketing/project management with Medical Devices will be an added advantageExcellent presentation, communication, planning and interpersonal skillsTeam player but also able to work independentlySelf-driven and result oriented with the ability to implement change to positively affect resultsMust be fluent in written and spoken English.Able to travel overseas independently
